FAQs

Are all of your drawing originals?

Yes. All of my pieces for sale are originals hand-drawn by me. I do not sell prints. Original pieces are signed by me, and will come with a certificate of authenticity. This certificate states that as owner of the copyright, I reserves the right to request pieces to be exhibited, though this is very rare.

What paper do you use?

The majority of my drawings are on high quality, heavyweight smooth Bristol board (250gsm). The paper colour is either natural or ice white. I endeavour to show as accurate a level of contrast on screen which is true to life as possible, but due to the nature of photographing and uploading images, this may vary slightly.

Which pieces do you exhibit?

I typically only exhibit pieces which are unsold. If you buy a piece which is due to be exhibited, either we can agree to wait for the exhibition to end before I ship you the drawing, or you may liaise with me to arrange delivery to the exhibition.

How much do you charge for shipping and how long will delivery take?

Within the UK, I offer a few shipping options. For residents in England, I can meet you with your drawing. This is best if you would like the drawing framed. Alternatively, I can ship the drawing framed (additional charges will apply), or unframed in a hard, flat box, rolled in a poster tube. Drawings in poster tubes arrive safely and in my experience have never been been damaged or bent.

I cannot held accountable for lost items. I will provide tracking for delivery, and will help with any unlikely issues but delivery remains the responsibility of the courier. If you purchase more than two drawings an additional shipping charge will be incurred.

Couriers can be agreed prior to full payment. If you require your purchase immediately please contact me about express courier shipping options.

Can I commission a special drawing or painting?

Yes. Please get in touch to discuss commissions. Commissions will require a 50% deposit paid upfront, and the remaining balance to be paid before shipping, with shipping and framing charges on top (if applicable). I can happily prepare an invoice.

Can I view a piece before purchasing it?

Yes, I am always happy to meet a buyer to show a piece prior to purchase. This can also be done by video.

What currency can I pay in?

All payments are taken in British Pounds (£GBP), and are charged at the current exchange rate.

How do I pay for a drawing?

I require immediate payment for each drawing before shipping (with shipping and framing costs added, where applicable). As mentioned above, commissions will require a 50% deposit in advance.

Paypal is the most secure way of shopping online. When you purchase using Paypal, your information is 100% secure and is not shared with me. No information can be used outside of the site and credit card details are not stored.

Alternatively, I can take payment via Zettle. This is my card reader, which can generate a secure payment link allowing me to accept payments from customers who are not physically present. Payment is encrypted and completely secure, and credit card details are not stored.

What is your returns policy?

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your drawing, please do inform me by email within 48 hours of receiving your drawing and I will work to resolve your concerns. Refunds will only be applicable where I am determined to be in breach of the description offered for each artwork. Refunds will be given strictly at my discretion. If a refund is approved the drawing must be shipped and delivered to me within 14 business days of date of delivery.

Note: the customer is liable for all shipping costs associated with the return of a drawing.
